A Spanish-style house with three individually designed double rooms, each with a private bathroom, a fireplace lounge, and a natural garden that sets the tone the moment you arrive. Every room is its own expression of Argentine style while the lodge as a whole feels cohesive, warm, and genuinely relaxing after a full day in the field. This is not a large operation. It is a private escape built for six people who want to do things properly.

Casablanca sits in the heart of the largest dove roosts in Córdoba. Seventy percent of the time we hunt the rolling Sierras hills, rocky terrain with waist-high thorny brush that makes for challenging and rewarding shooting from every angle. The remaining thirty percent is flatland shooting over farm fields and crops where birds concentrate heavily during feeding season. Birds leave the roost at first light and fly forty to sixty miles for food, which means the action starts immediately and runs hard through the morning session.
Your guide meets the group at breakfast to brief the day’s field location, guns, and shells before departing around eight in the morning for a twenty to forty minute drive to the blind. At the field your personal assistant is already in position with everything set. Three hours of shooting before midday, then a field asado with Argentine beef cuts and Malbec wine under the open sky. Hammocks go up after lunch before the afternoon session begins.

At Casablanca the kitchen honors its surroundings. The Cordobés goat, raised free-range on natural grasses and slow-cooked a la cruz over open fire for more than three hours until the meat is tender and the skin crisps to perfection, is the signature of the central region and one of the great food experiences of the entire Pointer lodge collection. Dove from the day’s hunt comes to the table in standout preparations including Dove Tempura served on arrival paired with Malbec, and Mushroom Risotto with Chimichurri Dove, one of the most renowned appetizers across all Pointer lodges. A professional chef prepares every meal with fresh local ingredients, Argentine wine flows throughout the evening, and the open bar is stocked with the finest selections. The hunting brings guests to Casablanca. The table is what brings them back.

Casablanca operates Pointer’s two-gun-per-hunter policy at every blind. If a gun jams or misfires your field assistant swaps it immediately and takes the other to camp for service without interrupting your shooting. All guns are cleaned once daily.
