Four World Class Experiences. One Exceptional Destination

Programs and Experiences

The fifty square mile reserve surrounding Siriri Lodge is one of the most productive and most diverse hunting territories in South America. The Parana River system supports over fifteen million ducks annually across marshlands, islands, and flooded fields. The natural grass fields north of the lodge hold exceptional perdiz populations. Dove roosting areas in the region account for populations of over twenty million birds. And the Parana River itself holds Golden Dorado year round for guests on the Cast and Blast program. Thirty distinct shooting fields across the reserve give our guides the flexibility to position hunters on the most productive water every single day.

Duck Hunting (May to July )

The duck program at Siriri begins at six in the morning with a hearty breakfast before a twenty to forty minute boat ride through the Parana channels to the shooting field. Moving through flooded islands and backwater channels in the pre-dawn darkness while the sky begins to lighten ahead of the first birds of the morning is one of the most atmospheric experiences in the Pointer program. After the morning session the group returns to the lodge for lunch and siesta before the afternoon session departs around three-thirty for the evening flight

Dove Hunting (September to April )

Dove shooting at Siriri draws on the roosting areas and agricultural fields north of the lodge where regional dove populations exceed twenty million birds. The terrain here is flatter than Córdoba which produces different shooting presentations, more high incoming and crossing angles that challenge experienced shooters in a distinct way from the hillside shooting of the north. The volume is equally extraordinary with more than two hours of peak shooting per session. The program follows the standard Pointer structure: guide briefing at breakfast, field asado with Malbec at midday, hammocks for the siesta, afternoon session before returning to the lodge for cocktails and dinner.

Mixed Bag Program (May to July)

The Mixed Bag Program is one of the most genuinely varied hunting experiences available anywhere in Argentina, combining duck, dove, and perdiz in a single four-night stay. A typical program runs morning duck sessions on the Parana marshlands alternating with afternoon dove or perdiz depending on the day. The perdiz hunting is conducted with well-trained pointing dogs across the natural grass fields north of the lodge in the classic walked-up style comparable to quail hunting in the American South, in small groups of two with a professional guide and dog working ahead through the grass.

Cast and Blast ( September to April )

During the shoulder seasons Siriri offers the Cast and Blast combination that, paired with the lodge's location on the Parana River system, makes for one of the most exciting days in Argentine sport hunting and fishing. Mornings in the dove fields produce the kind of high-volume action that Argentina is famous for worldwide. Afternoons are spent on the Parana chasing Golden Dorado, one of the most powerful and visually spectacular freshwater fish in the world.

Where the River, the Plains, and Argentine Culture Come Together at the Table

The Cuisine

The kitchen at Siriri draws on the rich traditions of the Central-East region of Argentina where the Parana River and the humid Pampas give rise to a sophisticated and deeply satisfying table that reflects the dual character of the lodge itself, wild river and welcoming estancia.
River fish are the signature of the house. The Dorado with its firm and pronounced flavor and the Surubi, soft and buttery, are prepared with techniques that honor their freshness, grilled over wood, en papillote, or in reductions of their own broth.
Game from the field brings its own identity to the evening meal. Duck in Wild Herb Butter, slow-cooked and finished with regional herbs and seasonal root vegetables, connects the hunting directly to the table.

Two Guns Per Blind. Built for the Volume of Santa Fe.

The Guns

Siriri operates Pointer’s two-gun-per-hunter policy at every blind for all wing shooting programs. If a gun jams or misfires, your field assistant swaps it immediately without interrupting your shooting. All guns are routinely cleaned and serviced. Wader and hip boot rentals are available at the lodge in all sizes for the duck hunting program. Please confirm availability and sizing with our office when booking.
