A beautifully restored Spanish-style estancia in Villa del Totoral, forty minutes from Córdoba Airport, designed specifically for small exclusive groups who want the full Pointer experience without sharing it with anyone else. Built in 1908 by one of the wealthiest families in Argentina and fully renovated in 2014, Estancia La Loma is the most historically significant and most requested dove hunting property in the Pointer collection. Nine rooms across the main house and north wing accommodate up to twelve guests forty minutes from Córdoba Airport. Positioned perfectly between the two largest dove roosts in Argentina with field rides of just ten to forty minutes and five distinct field types available across the stay including flyways, crop fields, feedlots, water holes, and temporary roosting areas. The only Pointer lodge in Tucumán Province and the only property in the collection offering both dove and pigeon hunting in a single program. The duck program accesses the same fifteen million duck Parana marshland territory with thirty distinct shooting fields. The most adventurous and most distinctly different destination in the Pointer Wing Shooting collection. One master suite and three individually designed double suites beside a natural stream in the heart of the Paraguayan Chaco near Loma Plata. Seventy percent of the hunting takes place in the rocky hills through waist-high thorny bush creating physical and shooting conditions unlike any Argentine property. The remaining thirty percent is in the plains over agricultural fields and crops. Warm days, crispy cold nights through the June to September dry season, and the Milky Way visible from the verandas in a clarity available only this far from any significant city. For wing shooters who want to experience something genuinely different from the Argentine mainstream, La Plata is the program. Access via Asunción International Airport or Loma Plata local airport.
